Maize prices has been correcting over the past few weeks on the back of increased arrivals from AP & Bihar. According to third advance estimates the production of maize is projected around 20.23 million tons, more than in any previous year. Also the demand from the exporters is fading away as the buyers are more interested towards the feed wheat which is substituted for the maize as the poultry feed. But as prices decline a bit more gong further, it should create good buying opportunity and demand should come in. |
